Finding true love or a soul mate is a high priority for most people. It is now getting more and more difficult to achieve that in our Society. Many busy and successful people don't have time to meet others socially or perhaps don't like going out to pubs or clubs. It is possible, all it takes is a little time and effort.

Here are a few pointers to start you on the road to finding your true love online.

1. Be honest with yourself and others. That way you will meet others who are interested in who you are not what you appear to be.

2. Accept yourself for who you are. Start by liking yourself. Ask close friends and family what they like about you.

3. Be open to give and receive love.

4. Do not have any fixed ideas about what your future partner looks or sounds like. Don't have a shopping list. Keep an open mind.

5. It is unrealistic to expect complete harmony and bliss in any relationship.

6. Work on your own personal issues. Happiness comes from inside you not from someone else.

7. Be less criticising of others.
